LAMPlighters is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization made up of parents, teachers, administrators, and alumni with a mission to support LAMP students and teachers.
All LAMP parents, teachers, and students are members.

Every day LAMP students, teachers, and administrators use something LAMPlighters provided.
Every penny raised by LAMPlighters goes directly to LAMP.
LAMPlighters has spent over $650,000 on LAMP's students and faculty over the last 5 years.
Despite what many believe, LAMP actually receives less money than traditional schools. LAMP does not receive Title 1 federal funds like all of the traditional MPS schools receive. LAMP relies on the generous donations of parents and the community to supplement the funds it receives from MPS.
We are parents united with teachers, students, and administrators to promote LAMP students' success and well being.
Our board of parents, teachers, and administrators meet monthly to discuss LAMP’s needs.
From LAMPlighter's founding in 1993, we have been raising funds to enable our students to achieve their best as students and citizens.
